Gallipoli & Dardanelles International is presently hosting its first Student Exchange in Turkey in conjunction with the Gallipoli Association of Turkey, Gelibolu Derneği, and it is proving to be an unqualified success. Students from Reading College have joined Turkish students in the town of Gelibolu (Gallipoli) for a five-day tour which will highlight important cultural and historic aspects of Turkey and conclude with a battlefield tour of the Gallipoli peninsula. On the first day the students were met by the Mayor of Gelibolu, Mr Mustafa Özacar, who is also a Patron of G&DI (see photograph). A full report on our Student Exchange will be posted later.
