A Student Exchange programme recently completed in Turkey has been hailed a great success. The mid-October tour, jointly hosted by Gallipoli &Dardanelles International and Gelibolu Derneği, attracted students from both Turkey and Britain in a six-day tour which focused on the cultural, commemorative and historical aspects of this fascinating country. The students met with local dignitaries, visited schools, sports clubs and museums and toured major battlefield sites on the Gallipoli peninsula. A full day was set aside to visit Troy.
