President John Crowe is grateful to Councillor Barry Ayres, the Mayor of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk for allowing G&DI to hold our reception in his Parlour. It was a wonderful setting with the walls lined with portraits of past Mayors.
It was an opportunity in this centenary year for members and friends to come together and share their stories over a glass of wine with light refreshments.
President John Crowe presented the Mayor with a G&DI Certificate of Appreciation which he was delighted to accept. The Mayor then gave all those present an impromptu tour of the Town Hall which was greatly appreciated.
