Remembrance Day – 11th November 2015 The Free French Military Cemetery at Brookwood Cemetery

For the first time G&DI was represented by President John Crowe. It was a great honour to attend and lay a wreath. France was an ally to Britain at Gallipoli.

The French Ambassador H.E. Sylvie Bermann together with senior military and civilian officials led the moving ceremony. It was very well attended.

It was then followed by another ceremony of remembrance at the statue of Marshal Foch in victoria.
