during the disastrous Gallipoli Campaign. They were members
of 1/4th (Borders) Battalion of the King’s Own Scottish Borderers.

history.
On 12th July this year the Callants’ Club once again carried out
their annual honouring of the men who died and suffered in l915.
The wreath laying ceremony took place at the War Memorial in
Wilton Lodge Park, Hawick, Scottish Borders.
G&DI was honoured to have their wreath laid by the Provost
Mr Watson McAteer.
G&DI is grateful to member Mr Brian Tait for arranging this
and for providing the photographs.
