Remembrance Day March in Whitehall, London, 12th November 2017
Gallipoli & Dardanelles International had the honour
to take part in the march of Remembrance on the
12th of November in Whitehall, London.
The group was truly ‘International’ with twenty members taking
part led by the President. It included two Turkish, six French,
two Australian, one New Zealander and the remainder British.
The oldest was Albert Touboul aged 88 years from Paris.
It was a truly emotional event and a wreath for G&DI was
placed at the Cenotaph.
After the march eleven went on to have lunch
together which was a most enjoyable end to a very important day.
G&DI is grateful to all the members that undertook long journeys to take part.
