National Service of Remembance held at the Cenotaph, Whitehall, London on Sunday 11th November 2018
This service marks the day World War One ended on llth day of the llth month in 1918.
Once again Gallipoli & Dardanelles International was honoured to receive permission to take part.
Twenty one members participated in this most important national service of remembrance led by the President. The group included members from Turkey, France and Australia. A G&DI wreath was placed at the Cenotaph.
After the being dismissed in Horse Guards Parade nine of the marchers continued on to have lunch at Amba Hotel, Charing Cross. They were joined there by Mr Nadir Imamoglu who designed and created the Gallipoli Memorial at the National Memorial Arboretum.
