He received a very warm welcome from Mr Stewart at Queensland House in the Strand. Mr Stewart was very happy for G&DI to continue to hold their meetings at Queensland House. This was started by former AG Ken Smith and continued by AG Linda Apelt.
Whilst there the President gave the Mr Stewart a G&DI tie, and expressed his
gratitude on behalf of G&DI.

We are deeply & passionately committed to remembering Gallipoli for all people and all ages, but we are particularly keen to foster educational opportunities for the young people of the countries that fought there, in order that understanding and international accord might be increased.
