ANZAC DAY Remembrance Service and Parade held by the Cambridge Branch of the RAF Association.
This was held on 25th April 2026, at 10.30am, at The Commonwealth War Graves Cemetery, Newmarket Road, Cambridge CB5 8PE.
This cemetery was the main RAF Cemetery for East Anglia and Lincolnshire during WW2, and contains the graves of some 330 Australian and New Zealand airmen.


There were representatives of the Australian and New Zealand High Commissions. Turkish Embassy representative was Mr Kemal Burak Termizel. Also present were, Cambridge Mayor Dinah Pounds, Mr David Bailey, Cambridge RAF Association, Air Marshal Sir Baz North (President RAFA) and Lord Lieutenant, Colonel Roger Herriot.
The address was given by the Air Marshal.
Mr Kemal Termizel as well as laying a wreath also read the words of peace, of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk.
Gallipoli & Dardanelles International, member, Mr Graham Beck, also attended and laid a wreath.
