Informal ceremony at Gallipoli/Dardanelles Memorial Seat, Wandsworth, Cemetery, 16th June 2026.
This Memorial Seat was a joint project of Gallipoli & Dardanelles International, a French Veterans Association AMAC (Association des Mutiles, Ancient Combattants et Victims de la Guerre en Grande Bretagne), and Wandsworth Council.
The installation ceremony took place on 9th July 2019.

This annual informal ceremony was attended by the President, together with committee members, Guy Audibert (also President of AMAC) and Sumitra Tikaram. After the ceremony, the wreath was placed on the grave of a nearby Australian soldier who had died during WW1.

On Tuesday 9th July, 2019, thirty people gathered for the ceremony. They included the Mayor of Wandsworth and Consort, the Leader of the Council, and representatives from Turkey, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, France and India, as well as the Royal Navy and Royal Marines.
